  • We were staying at the Timhotel round the corner for a few days. We had a drink and a meal here at the end of most days. The staff were so friendly and helpful, treated us like special guests, making our visit to Paris more personal and enjoyable. The food was good, served promptly and always with a smile. Drinks mostly came with nuts or tasty snacks after the first visit - made us feel like locals! Its just across the square from the Basilique de Notre-Dame des Victoires, so we sat and watched kids playing scratch soccer, beautiful people going to and fro - lovely.

  • We arrived a little early (6:30) for our dinner at Chez George (Rue du Mail) and decided on a drink at this inviting neighborhood place across the street. Service was friendly. Bartender made my wife a great drink. I had a glass of Merlot. served a basket of great potato chips with the drinks. wonderful atmosphere. Not a word of English spoken but bartender made us feel like special guests.
