We went there because in was convenient after shopping in liberty plaza. The buffet for 750rs (ex tax) sounded good. We told told that the serving lots would be refilled. They were not. We started eating what was remaining in the pot. It was bland and tasteless. The waiters ran around looking busy and the owner made no attempt to satisfy us. A waste of money. Would have been a better choice to have a burger.

made an effort to remember to visit seasons on a Sunday, the restaurant is very isolate and run by a few pretty disorganized but friendly staff, the owner was also there. the biriyani was certainly not "dum" biriyani although the owner insisted it was. ii must say it was pretty fragrant and good to eat, but i expected more quality form an Indian investor who had a long experience in catering trade.

This is in the Col petty liberty shopping complex. The buriyani is good.A good place for a big or small take away. Service is good.

True I agree with the previous comments from approx 8-10 reviewers that the place is big, empty, dark, a bit not lively etc.. However you may all agree that the food here is king. I patronized the place twice once independently and second with a group of 60 odd guests the food was great, service was basic but that was alright as we were Ina rush anyway. There is space to sit 200 people here, entrance is not the best but I'm sure it will improve in the next month or two, tables and chairs are tires looking if they were bit more elegant would have added more flare to the place, prices for a meal Biriyani (best I would say in town), Chicken preparation, and other North or South Indian dishes have authentic taste and aroma, cost range from 6-10$ per head per meal tax inclusive, open for lunch and dinner, you wait and see it will be one or the best Indian food joints in Colombo soon, for now enjoy the food not the place...
