  • After spending a few weeks frequenting this amazing bar, the owner painted one of his walls white so my friends and I could paint a mural in his bar. He bought the paint and everything! He is such a friendly guy and is very open to making new friends. The pool table is an awesome addition. Try the slushies!

  • When I first walked though the open doorway of Suksibsam with my two friends we were hoping to find a quiet place to play some pool and get a drink. What we found was so much more. We were immediately greeted by the owner of the place who had a smile on his face that would warm the heart of any weary traveler. we pointed to the pool table that was empty at the time and he was kind enough to set us up with coins and beers. The 3 of us immediately went to work on both the table and the beers which were both priced better than any other bar we had set foot in. After a few rounds of both we decided to try out what little Thai we spoke in an attempt to thank the bar owner for his hospitality. We were greeted with a willingness to communicate so apparent that he even shared in a few drinks with us and took several pictures for his wall of patrons. When we left that first night our new friend Ka (pronounced Ga) told us that he hopes we were happy with the place because he wanted us to come back again. We were so happy in fact that this bar became the destination for our group of exchange students on countless more outings which led to a deep friendship with Ka. Over the following weeks we became very close with Ka and he even asked us to paint a mural on a bare wall that he had just constructed to house his A/C unit. We happily agreed and succeeded in leaving a permanent mark on the bar that had left a permanent mark on us. My hope his to return to Bangkok soon and find Ka still smiling behind the bar playing his favorite mix of American hits and serving up the best food and cheapest beers in town. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a beer at a bar that you will feel so welcome that you will forget that you are a farrang (foreigner).

  • Super friendly bar owner, cozy atmosphere, delicious Thai dishes, affordable price alcohols and a pool table. This place has the best combination for chilling with friends in the evening, especially for people who live near Pinklao. Also walkable from Rambutri, Phra Atith roads.
