  • It is great place in Boudha, behind Samtenling monastery. Food quality is ok, ambiance is nice and close to the Boudha stupa. You will see many locals come and eat there. Try once.

  • White Dzambala offers a very long menu with many options. We picked a few veggie dishes, some dumplings, and some noodles. The food was good enough but pretty greasy. We did enjoy relaxing on the rooftop, which has a nice view of the Boudha.

  • Sat on the roof and had a tasty (and spicy!) lunch of dumplings, fing noodles, stir fried veggies and chili potatoes (although everything was a bit greasier than our liking). Washed it down with delicious fruit tea while watching the sun go down behind the stupa. Very reasonably priced.

  • This place is tucked in a corner of Boudha. The place is set in what it seems like authentic Tibetan setting. There is a monastery behind this restaurant and that view is good. The menu out here is quite exotic. One needs to ask the details of what each is before ordering. Or if you like what someone out there is having, order it. The prices are reasonable but higher than the normal Tibetan places. This is a must visit kind of place. Very exotic.
