Nice food (almost all pre-prepared), very good coffee. I expected more freshly prepared, healthy options given the café is in a cancer diagnosis/ recovery facility. Staff are just ok.

The cafe has a limited selection of ready made wraps and sandwiches, a small selection of pre cooked hot food and cakes/muffins. The coffee is very good but as previous reviewers have indicated the service is very slow. The Cafe is convenient for visitors to Lifehouse but there are also other Cafes nearby that are worth considering.

New Modern spacious and very good campos coffee and sour cherry ricotta pear toast ... Yummo I was also pleasantly surprised as I was departing to find out they have a shuttle bus to central running every hour from the Chris O'Brien life house as a service to their patients as we were thinking we would catch a taxi to central. This is a café on the ground floor of the Chris O'Brien Life House, part of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Campus. The Life House is Australia's Centre of Excellence for cancer treatment.This gorgeous café is all glass and space. Interesting spaces have been designed into this cafe which has interesting views out onto Missenden Road. People who are waiting for their take-away coffees are provided with a standing reading bench supplied with today's newspapers. There is a cafeteria table, if that is how you like to read your paper and have your coffee and snack, or there are smaller tables and spaces sprinkled about the area. I love the Soya Milk Banana and Yoghurt Smoothies in a jar. They do coffees. They do cakes and cookies. They also do light meals and frittatas. They cater mainly to nurses, doctors, health workers and patients from around the hospital campus and students. Some of the people who love the Newtown scene are starting to find their way down to this little café probably because it is so pleasant to be in this space. Oh yes, and for those who are in the "know" they use Campos coffee. My current fav coffee shop.
