The Pinewood is a great place for a night out. I went with my husband on my birthday and thought it was a great place for a cozy celebration, but it would be equally fun for a group of friends after work. The menu is inventive without being too far out, and it has a nice southern flair. The best part is that my birthday fell on a Wednesday when they offer half price whiskey cocktails. I would not ordinarily order a $10 drink, even on a special occasion, but two $5 drinks? I am all about that! In truth, the drinks are good enough to warrant the higher price tag, but at $5, you will want to try more than one! We have been twice, and the service has been friendly and helpful both times. I definitely recommend the Pinewood!
