紫藤创办于1987年，是马来西亚第一家除了以古典精致的喝茶空间规划，精心陈设饮茶价值外，更长期举办和策划各类型文学、表演艺术的座谈、展览及活动的现代茶艺馆，打破了传统茶行的经营模式，使茶馆不再只卖茶，而是结合了文学、音乐、电影、舞蹈与人文活动的所在。

味道很不错，十几年前留学来这边的时候，就很想吃这样的甜品，可惜当时只能想想，觉得太贵。这次再次来到吉隆坡，感受一下甜品，觉得真的不错，看来在东南亚甜品做的不错。大家有机会可以感受下。环境也不错，服务各方面都挺到位！

Purple Cane was a very nice place. The food was very tasty. It was my first time eating there and the concept of cooking with tea was new to me. I was going to purchase some teas to take with me but I found them to be rather pricey. Overall it was a decent experience.

This was right down from our hotel and I had read about it before we traveled. I had the duck and it was quite good. There was a process of folding and dipping but I ate it my way (mixed everything together) and enjoyed it much better. My friend enjoyed her rice but the chicken was not as expected. Good experience. Would have loved a cookbook.

I think there are three outlets, ie one at the Chinese assembly hall building, one at I Utama Shopping complex, and one at Shaw Parade. I've only been to the one at the Chinese assembly Hall, and have been there many times. Its an old building, in fact one of the first large halls in KL. In KL's early years this building was popular for weddings etc.And so the ambience is good. The food concept is that everything is cooked with a bit of tea. And the end result is very good. The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. In fact I have commented often on the fact that for the level of service at this place, and the classy food, they should be charging more. They have private rooms as well, but I prefer the common areas. Parking is a bit of a problem, but you can park behind the building , where the flats are. If you are a tourist, it shouldn't be a problem, you should be able to get a taxi from the area back to your hotel.

Loved the flavourful eggs in this shop. best i ever eaten. personally i do not like the strong cinnamon taste in other tea eggs. but Purple cane's eggs have a balance of tea and the spices flavour. this really sits well with me. Yum!
