We ate here because it was very close to our hotel and had good reviews but we were not impressed with the food or the service, although the waiter was friendly.

My wife and I arrived without a booking having been told we wouldn't need one and had a lovely seat on the terrace a few tables back from the edge. The sunset and setting cannot be beaten so worth going just for that. Unfortunately we sat next to a couple that smoked, smoking is still allowed in restaurants in Italy when you sit outside and this was not a pleasant start to our meal. We shared the previously raved about risotto balls only to find them luke warm and stodgy and not to our taste. The pasta dishes we had, mine with salami and my wife's with wild boar were very tasty. The pannacota we had for desert was only so so. Overall an average meal enhanced by great views.

The food was wonderful (the risotto balls were amazing) and the view was SO worth it! Definitely a must see. It is 2-3 minutes away (walk) from the busy plaza center so it's perfectly relaxing!

I found everything wonderful, as has been said before view is amazing and food is a close second to it. We caught the sunset, we arrived with no reservation at about 7:15 on a Saturday night. The only issue we had was the bugs - do not sit near the fig tree, we spent the majority of our evening defending our table from the ant and aphid invasion. We won, but it was a close battle. The figs has over ripened and fallen on the ground so the insects were all around the area. We could have moved, but my wife has allergies to grass and most of the chairs are sitting on grass not pavement so we accepted the bugs as the preferable downside - and not really the restaurant's fault since we requested to sit there. Perhaps cleaning the figs on the ground up would help though. Our waiter was amazing also, and the cheesecake was an especially enjoyable treat. Overall i definitely recommend.
