We were looking forward to spending time at Suksabai again this year. Unfortunately, the food & service has gone downhill. I'm not sure what has happened in the last year but they need to make some improvements!

I spent well over 3 weeks on Khao San and Soi Rambuttri. Came back to this place more then a dozen times. The offer big chang bottles for 80 baht. Waiters are all very friendly. Live music every night. Mostly a guy with his guitar, sometimes a full band, depending what time you go. Their food is average - unless you go for the soups, they all tasted great.

First I have to say I'm sorry I have to rate this place so low, because the service was good, and I had a great time here with a friend, but this is a restaurant review! I love Thai food, and all totaled I've spent years in Thailand, as well I try and search out good Thai food wherever I am. I ordered the Green Curry, my favorite dish , which is normally one of the spiciest curries, but unfortunately this was just BAD ...it was the blandest, non-spicy, watered-down, no-flavor curry I've ever had ...it would have been spicier if I just poured my Chang beer over my rice! I don't know if they water it down for the tourists, but it was the worst green curry I've had in Thailand, possibly the world. Great location and good service, and I enjoyed the live music ...might come back if I were just having drinks!

Cheap beer offer 3 large Chang for 220 Bhart and food well priced fairly busy place so decided to eat here. Took a little time for the orders too be taken but the food and drink came fairly quickly. Food was variable the green curry was good but the red curry lacked spice. There is live music while CH is why we had to leave quickly, found we were seated directly in front of the speekers
