Was starving and looking for food. Came across this place randomly. I climbed up to the second floor and they had a bar top overlooking a major intersection, I decided to stay and eat. Very large menu full of selections and the prices were outrageously inexpensive. Food was decent. Value of food for your dollar was great. I got a kick out of watching how close people come to crashing on their scooter/moto bikes. If you are in Hanoi, I do recommend checking this place out for lunch or dinner!

We walked the small and narrow stairs up to the small balcony outside a dining room that would probably only hold 20 people. It's a great spot for a few beers on the balcony as it overlooks what seems like one of the busiest intersections in Hanoi. The vietnamese food was good too, all served up by very friendly local staff.

After reading the good reviews on TA, i was really disappointed. The food and location was average for anywhere in old Hanoi and the balcony, not really a balcony at all.

Chose this restaurant after reading the first two reviews on T.A. even though it was only ranked 57th at the time. Don't be put off by the steps leading up to the restaurant because at the top is a quaint, cosy eating area with a balcony overlooking the mayhem which is Hanoi's traffic. As a true Yorkshireman my husband loved this place due to both the quality and the price. We both had three large beers, shared the excellent Hanoi spring rolls, each had a delicious main course (we preferred the Vietnamese menu) and we shared a dessert. All for around 10 GBP. This place deserves to be higher in the ratings.
