Into The Heart of Hainan

If you want to get someone’s heart, you need to know deep about him/her. And yeah, we wanted to find the heart of Hainan province, a tropical coastal province located in southern China. To find the authentic taste of Hainan and to reach the heart, we went the middle of province what is 2 hours journey by car. On the way you will see enormous beautiful scenery on road sides.

Day 1

There has a saying, first meal should be the best meal as it will carried out whole day. We had our full breakfast and started our journey to the first spot named Xinwei Tea Garden, it was really so far from city and closer to the heart of Hainan. It is located in the south foot of Wuzhi Mountain with beautiful scenery and mountains. This area is surrounded by clouds and mists throughout the year, and the rain is abundant, which provides a unique natural condition for the growth of tea. We enjoyed tea from garden and also coconut juice.

We had a wonderful time in Xinwei Tea garden and then we moved to Baisha uprising memorial park. It is a patriotic education base in Hainan Province located 160 kilometers from the Haiyu Middle Highway on the east side of Fanxiang Village. It has a long history from 1943.

Our lunch was into the nature as well with local delicious food in Fangxiang village. It’s one of the most beautiful village in China, located 800 meters north of 158 kilometers of Haiyu middle line. The villagers here set up Fanxiang Li Culture and art team, which has won the first and second prizes in the county's "March 3" national song and dance competition for many times. In 2014, Fanxiang was listed as the key village of Fumei village in Qiongzhong County.

After lunch, we roamed around the village and took photos. The village is so neat and clean, people are so friendly.

We finished our first day by visiting Helou village. Helao Village is located in Hongmao Town, Qiongzhongli and Miao Autonomous County of Hainan Province. The government has built several buildings in a row with unique ethnic characteristics for the villagers and is equipped with complete infrastructure. A love square was built in Helao Village in 2017. During the "March Three" festival, many tourists come to experience the Li and Miao marriage customs. Villagers used part of the idle buildings to build homestays, and received self-driving tourists. The response was good. Lived in a new house, ate a tourist meal, and the villagers of Helao Village passed their hopes.

Day 2

Baihualing is such an amazing and big scenic spot that we needed to spend our whole second day there. It is located 7 kilometers southeast of Yinggen Town, Qiongzhongli and Miao Autonomous County. The prescription circle is 33.7 kilometers. It is one of the important natural scenic spots and nature reserves in Hainan Province also an important part of tropical virgin forest known as “the green treasure house". The main peak is more than 1,100 meters above sea level, forming a three-legged standing trend with Wuzhi Mountain in the east and Limu Mountain in the northwest.

There are many kinds of general banyan in the forest such as Lovers, Lianli trees, Lover banyan, Ancient trees, etc. There have hundred flowers, waterfalls with the largest drop in the province, which are spectacular and charming. There are also Baihua Tianchi, Baihua hanging wall, Baihua River, Baihua gorge, Baihua Lake, Bailong River, shinaqing River, guanyinling, Bajiao mountain, Baihua Mountain, Malong mountain, Shishizhenhe, Wuwang sword testing stone, tianniu lying water, Baihua pillar, juxiantai, giant turtle flowing water, crocodile fish feeding, Xiangguo Pingchuan, giant mang going out of the cave, Shibao, Zui Buddha falling River, Baihua ape man, carp turning over , washbasin, stone lion playing with water, fairy, mother and son frog and other waterscape, mountain view and stone view. Also has the rich humanities landscape, the national custom landscape and so on. All kinds of flowers and fruits are interwoven together, which is like a natural park. In addition, it has the advantages of superior regional location, pleasant climate conditions, good environmental landscape, rich resource types, unique national culture and good market prospect. It is a scenic spot with mountain sightseeing, summer vacation and tropical rainforest sightseeing as the theme, mountain, water and stone as the landscape, integrating sightseeing, vacation and special entertainment tourism. It has good tourism Comprehensive development conditions.

Baihualing waterfall is named after the water gushing out from the waterfall looks like the rain of flowers. It is a super-level landscape of Bailing scenic area and the main scenic spot for tourists to watch. The source of Baihualing waterfall is on the second peak with an altitude of 700 meters. It is planned to hang a silver chain in the mountains, and the water flows down the cliff with a drop height of 300 meters. The waterfall falls in three levels. Its sound is loud, color is white, momentum is majestic, magnificent and Spectacular. There is a "magic medicine pool". It is said that with the impact of the waterfall, the well-shaped pool of this level of waterfall occasionally churns out a red flower and fruit, which is a panacea for all kinds of diseases, hence its name. The highest level is called "Golden Dragon spits the Pearl", because it has a clear spring flowing down from the top of the mountain, and the water mist aroused is colorful under the reflection of the sun. The two tributaries on both sides, like silver and white dragon teeth stretching out from the blood mouth; plus, the green bamboo and dead wood growing on the two walls, like dragon claws and whiskers, the ancient people called it "Golden Dragon spits beads".

We also enjoyed water-ride through the jungle, it was one of the best experiences.

Day 3

On our last day we visited some far hill side village. First, we went Guang Yi Guang Er village. It’s under the jurisdiction of Shiyun Township of Qiongzhongli and Miao Autonomous County, the fate of this village is inseparable from an arsenal. The state-owned Guanghua repair and distribution plant is a small-scale military industrial enterprise owned by the whole people. It was planned to be established in 1966. A plant was built in the village, mainly producing bullets, grenades and signal bombs. The Guanghua people have inherited the legacy of liberating the martyrs in Hainan Island, researching and producing various ammunition, and providing a solid guarantee for national defense construction and defense of Haijiang.

The village wall is decorated with military hats, pistols, broad knives and other military items and fences in the shape of artillery shells during the war. These Li cultural totems and red cultural elements embellish Guang yi guang Er into a charming and beautiful village.

At end we visited Bianwen Village what is located on the middle of the mountain at the southern foot of Yinggeling in Shiyun Township. Yinggeling is located in the west of the county, in the hinterland of Wuzhi Mountain, 1812 meters above sea level, second to Wuzhi Mountain and the second highest peak in Hainan Island. Bianwen Village Li people have a glorious tradition of revolutionary struggle and have made significant contributions to previous revolutionary wars.

Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable experience to cherish. Would like to travel again.
